The Annual Meeting of the Gilcrux Parish Council was held at the Gilcrux Village Hall,
Gilcrux at 6.30pm on Wednesday 20th May 2020.
However due to the Covid 19 Pandemic (Coronavirus) and The Local Authorities and Police and Crime Panels (Coronavirus) (Flexibility of Local Authority and Police and Crime Panel Meetings) (England and Wales) Regulations 2020 the meeting was cancelled. The effect being that the Chair (Councillor Simon Jones) and Vice Chair (Katie Clarke) will remain in post until May 2021.
The Accounts and Audit (Coronavirus ) (Amendment) Regulations 2020 amends the deadline by which the Annual Governance Statement and Statement of Accounts of the Annual Governance and Accountability Return (AGAR) together with any certificate or opinion issued by the local auditor must be published from 30th September 2020 to 30th November 2020.
All accounts and Invoices have been paid.
The play park has been closed as required under the ‘Lockdown’ regulations
